While Hampton House usually sleeps six people, another two people can easily be accommodated. You'll need to arrange this with us upon booking.
A gallery hallway leads to the lounge which features an open fire place, leather couches, floor cushions and ottomans. Flat screen tv, dvd and video players with surround sound in this room transform it into a home theatre. Wool rugs feature on original wood floor boards.
Hampton House is family friendly with our library including toys, books and magazines, board games, music CDs, videos and DVDs for your in-house entertainment. The house has baby bath, high chair and porta-cot available if required.
There is a light and bright office enclave with built in desk. You can operate the outdoor sound system from here, make free local telephone calls or access the internet by WiFi from your laptop.
Towards the back of the house is a large, fully equipped Chef's kitchen with dishwasher, six burner gas stove and oven, microwave, generous refrigerator and pantry storage. Here an antique oak dining suite with four chairs and two carvers seats six.
The bathroom has a shower over full sized bath with a solar powered, mains electricity boosted hot water system that delivers ample hot water and great water pressure.
Of limestone construction, the house retains a comfortable temperature all year round. Open fires and a gas heater for the Winter with standard and ceiling fans and a portable refrigerated air conditioner for the Summer.
The laundry is a separate room with a washing machine and clothes dryer. There are drying lines in the rear garden.
An Exceptional undercover, paved outdoor entertaining space beyond the kitchen has its own sound system, mains plumbed gas barbeque and easy care garden. Beyond this area there is dedicated parking on the property for two vehicles. Up to four bicycles can also be arranged for local travel. At the front of the house is an elevated porch, a lovely walled courtyard with water feature and rose garden.
This property is available for short, medium or long term stay. There is a minimum stay of four nights.
